THINGS TO DO

Our Favourite Places to Eat & Drink

Remember, restuarant reservations are required!

Gustar Restaurant

Mediterranean food with a touch. of Galician magic. This is a hidden gem, set in the beautiful old square of Plaça del Banc de l’Oli. Fidel is one of our friends and he will take good care of you.

Ben Trempat

In the heart of the old town, in Plaça Llorenç square , you will find Ben Trempat restaurant. They serve tasty tapas and a lovely menu of the day.

Cafè Es Pes de sa Palla

Something for everyone and a lovely outside terrace in the heart of old town, opposite our old apartment. They don´t close on Sundays which is rare in Palma.

Bar Espanya

A friendly and vibrant place, with a good selection of tapas and beers. Try the tumbet con solomillo, a local mallorcian favourite.

Agogo Pizza

Delicious Pizza with best toppings in town,. Camila and Geronimo will make you feel at home.

El Peñón 1957

By the seafront with superb views of the city, this is 5km east of the city centre. If paella is your thing or not, try the delicious black-rice paella (this dish must be pre-ordered).

Ca'n Joan de s'Aigo

A golden oldie, their doors opened up in the 1700´s. But don´t let that put you off, their cakes are super fresh. One word “ENSAIMADA”. It´s a delicious Mallorcian pastry. If you were wondering what people have under their arms at the airport, now you know.

Arabay Cafe

Best coffee in town and bring your mac book if you want to blend in (good pun).

City Highlights

Catedral-Basílica de Santa María de Mallorca

Hard to miss, this beautiful cathedral is worth a visit. See the website for tour times and if you want some epic views, check out the roof top tour.

Es Baluard Museu d'Art Contemporani

For art enthusiasts, this is well worth a gander. Miró, Miró on the wall as well as works by Dali, Picasso and ……….

Parc de Sa Feixina

The prettiest park in the city for the kids to play. The playground is mostly shaded and there is an adjacent cafe to sit in and keep an eye on the wee ones.

Castell de Bellver

The picture doesn´t do it justice. This is an amazing and well-kept castle. Spectacular views overlooking Palma with secluded woods to its rear to hike and explore.
